Add Tags menu when Adding a Game

When my coaches are in Edit mode, they navigate to their team page to add games.  By clicking on the Game Schedule tab then Add Game.  When that menu appears they are not given the option to add tags .  They can however go back into the Game after saving and the tag menu is available.  It would be a great added value to us if that tag menu was available upon the creation of the game.

Other than the teams you in the game, what kinds of tags would you like to add to the game?

They really just need to be able to tag their team and the Field they are on.  So for instance, 14U Hesse - Bennington Field 1

Let's say we create a tag and a page for a tournament we're hosting and some of our teams are in this tournament. The page we created is an event aggregator showing all the events associated with this tournament. We add external teams playing each other as Events and tag them for the this page. When the teams play our teams, we create a game so we can add scores. Right now, this is a two step process - 1. create game then 2. go back and edit the game ad tag it for the tournament.

We do something similar with the league we play in - all the games the league creates are league games. We go back and tag each game for the tournament so they can be shown on the tournament page for the league. We also display this info on our Team Site (as the sites are linked). We add non-league games by tagging them so they can be displayed on the Event Aggregator,

Makes sense. However, we should be seeing the ability to set up venues and use those directly rather than creating pages and tags for venues. Keep an eye out for that in 2018

For us it's not a question of venue (or surface). Regular season games are played on the same surfaces as our tournaments. I can understand "Guest" where you create calendars based on surfaces/venues and think it's a great idea.

We need to be able to connect multiple games across teams to a particular event (tag) which gets aggregated into a tournament page. See this page for an example:

    http://www.jerseyhitmen.net/page/show/3491314-2017-hitmen-classic

These games come from the league site (which is linked to our team site) and they are all tagged for this event. If a game is a non-league game and in our tournament, we want to be able to display that to our guests so we add them as an event and tag it for the tournament. (This is needed as we can't add games where both teams are not part of our organization or a non-league game. We don't keep SportsEngine stats but we publish the event with date/time and rink and a link to an external scoring site. See an example here which contains a link to the external site http://www.jerseyhitmen.net/game/show/19193486?subseason=374262).
