Add multiple cell numbers and emails to the texting options of team pages without having to create new accounts for each phone number.

As a ski coach we need to be able to contact our athletes very quickly.  Most of our athletes are older and all have cell phones.  We as coaches need the ability to get a hold of our athletes ASAP but also we need to keep the parents  in the loop too just in case that athlete has lost their phone.  It would be great to have more then one cell phone and email associated with each account without having the athlete sign up for their own account.  This will never happen with teenagers who are way to busy as it is.

Currently, you can have multiple emails associated with an account and each will get an email notification. You are correct about the text messaging though. My recommendation today would be to have the athletes phone number associated to the account and they will get the text. Parents will get the notification via their email.

A year after this suggestion was made and the multiple cell phone idea still hasn't happened.  TeamSnap has that functionality.  I'm not sure why SportsEngine doesn't.  Not only the athlete, but what about divorced parents?  Everyone needs to create an account?  Then link them?  Sounds like a lot of rigamarole to go through for something other platforms do well.

We are having the same issue, and it is getting frustrating. We send users the videos, explain Profile and Account (and notification) settings, and they often can't figure it out. We end up asking them for their SE password and making the adjustments for them. I agree with Scott Anderson that other platforms, who also cater to youth/prep sports, have a much simpler process for admins and users to receive text messages to multiple family mobile numbers.
