Guardians of players on private team pages need to be able to access the team page

In my opinion, there's a serious defect with how SE grants access to a private team page.  If I use a smart group to give access to that team page, only the player and their parent account get the access.  The other guardians of that player are not given access to that private team page.  This is awful!!

There are two workarounds I know of:

1.  make the page public.  This raises privacy considerations.

2.  Rather than using a smart group, make a static group for each team that includes the player, plus any other accounts associated with that player.  But this is a massive administrative headache!

Access to a private team page should be gated on each rostered player, and all guardians of that player need to have the same  access.  I believe that's how TeamSnap works and I don't see why SE should be any different.

SportsEngine dev team, please fix this ASAP.

Hey James, You are correct. That was an oversight on our part and has been rectified. Sorry about the inconvenience it caused!

I just retested this, but as far as I can tell, it's not fixed.  My son has one guardian, his mother.  When she is signed into our website and using the web interface, she is not able to see the private team page on the website.  Is there something I'm still doing wrong there?
