I have a static page with a gallery that should be viewable all year long. I've added captions and other meta data to the images.
Now, I want to add a news item that might expire in a little while, but reuse the gallery (and captions, etc).

Thanks for looking at this, Jim.
If I recall the original use case, I was publishing a "Weekly Game Summary" for the club. That article would include a photo gallery, and expire the following week. I wanted to use that week's photo gallery on the home page. So, it sounds like I could mirror the article's photo gallery to the home page (updating the home page to use a different mirror each week).
I would only say that I didn't do it that way because "mirror" is a confusing way to describe this functionality. There's plenty of room on the form for "Make this content available on other pages? (yes/no)".

You can mirror the gallery and put it on any number of pages. Is there a reason you wouldn't do it that way?
