Ability to create a default Permission settings

We would like the ability to create default permission settings we can apply to new users or user profiles as they change roles.

Example:

Default Permission setting = Webmaster

  • Has the ability to Read/Write/Edit all things

Default Permission setting = Web Admin

  • Has the ability to Read/Write/Edit certain things but not all (example: would not have the ability to financial information)

Default Permission setting = Financial User

  • Has the ability to Read/Write/Edit everything specific to Financial information but can only Read other things

Default Permission setting = Standard Admin

  • Has the ability to Read/Write/Edit only the things the Webmaster allows them to

 

By having the ability to apply the things a user can/can not do to a default Permission setting, it would greatly reduce the amount of time a Webmaster is having to go in and click view or edit permissions to each individual page in the system. Instead, we would be able to click on the user, select their Permission setting and they system will automatically check all the appropriate boxes applicable to that default Permission setting. Hope these are clear examples. I am happy to provide additional details.
