Separate the tracking of stats from the Player Stats page Merged

In Team -> Admin -> Tool Settings -> Statistics, I can select which stats I want to track for a player.  These stats are also shown on the Player Stats tab on the team page.

In order to track some stats - but keep them private - I need to completely disable the Player Stats tab on the team page and put the stats someplace else.  In my case, I want to track hockey +/- for the coaches, but not display it for the players.  The players should see the basic stuff (games played, goals, etc).

Creating a stats widget and putting it on the team's home page is a work-around, but (a) I'd like to use the Player Stats tab, and (b) the home page may already contain enough content.

I would like to retain the Player Stats tab, but have more control over the columns that are chosen there.

+100 on this.  Would love to be able to track these cumulatively, without giving scouting information to opponents or too much information being given to players.

Would also be helpful if cumulative team/player stats were incorporated into the Scorekeeper App.

Steve, that seems about right.  And I'd like any solution to "feel" like it was part of the site (as opposed to making widgets which break the "tab" model of the team page (home/roster/stats/video/etc).

To summarize, you're looking for a solution to track stats easily, but set permissions for who can see those results (e.g public, team, player, coach only). Do I have this correct?

The chosen stats also appear on the player's roster profile, which means even more work for me to design this page to hide stats from the players.
