Off line installments

Sometimes clients can't pay by credit card or have funds to pay in full.  How about creating an off line payment system where a client can pay by check or cash and when we credit it to their account, it updates the balance.

    Admin Response

Both PowerPay and registration support admins to enter offline payments. Both PowerPay and registration also support ACH check payments so they can be entered online but draw funds from a checking account.

Please elaborate Admin. Are you also stating that once a person chooses a payment plan, an Admin can go in an enter an offline payment that was received? Either cash or check. I have not found anywhere that an Admin can go into an order, of which was payment plan, and adjust the payment plan by adding an offline payment. If that is already in place, please point me to the document. If it is not, I would highly suggest adding that feature. Not every parent will hand your club the exact amount owed on their payment plan via check or cash. It is possible that a parent's credit card was hacked or they came into cash rather than pay via CC. The ability to add the offline payment to a pre-existing order (payment plan) should be allowed by Admins. Please see attachment for choices on payment plans. There is no choice to add offline payment, even as an Admin. Thanks!

Admin is half correct.  In PowerPay, you can indicate an offline payment and it will track accordingly.  However, there is no way to enter a partial offline payment for a registration.
