Shouldn't need to INVITE to RSVP

If a player is on a team's roster, it would be assumed the player is invited to all team events, games, etc. We shouldn't need to invite the roster in order to use RSVP. We load many of our schedules using the Schedule Upload procedure rather than a manual entry. There's no way to invite everyone using the upload (and it would send multiple invites as we load three months worth of practices at one time). If we have to reload and "Replace all previously uploaded events", people may wind up having to be invited to events they have already RSVPed.

Instead of an INVITE, there should be a "REMINDER" link/button to send a notification to everyone on the roster or just those who have not RSVPed.

    Admin Response

When creating events, any player, by default, can now RSVP to it. You can however, only invite certain players from team management, if you have different practices (special teams, etc)

I agree. And, this is not a new idea.  We've been asking for this for months.

Many of our teams have reverted back to doing attendance by hand due to the manual and cumbersome nature of the RSVP system. With 3-5 practices and 2-5 games per week, the RSVP emails became too much.

Definitely! I've used Shutterfly Share Sites for many teams and their availability tab allows you to mark your availability for each event without an invitation. I do like the reminder suggestion!
