The current version, you have to set up each individual account to be able to receive Text Messages (cumbersome process), and then that person will receive both an email AND a text for every message. Texts should be used for urgent situations (practice is canceled/moved). The weekly update and other messages, should not be texts.
TeamSnap handles this in a very easy to use manner from the web app. You have the ability to send text only, or email. This should be a choice, not forced for every single message. I don't like blowing up peoples phones for texts that are simple emails that they can read at their leisure.
