Allow DIBS to be a quantity

When creating a DIBS item, please allow the use of QTY.  This will keep the DIBS page much more organized for both AdmIn and User.  For an activity that I need 20 people to attend, allow it to say 0/20 instead of 20 separate line items.

this would also would help streamline the somewhat clunky Schedule on the app. where you get an entry on the calendar for each dibs that needs claiming on a specific day and time.  My running club works marathons to raise money for our group, we get 50 people to volunteer and our group get $250 . So on the schedule for the day of the marathon 50 individual dibs items were listed quantity would show one event needs 50 people. When we Host a track meet we need 3 people in the concession stand, 4 at the long jump pit, 3 at Javelin, etc. etc. this gets confusing because again we have all these separate dib item on that one day where if we could have it be 3 people in concession from 9-11 in one item and looking at one thing we know how many people to fill that position for that shift.

Still very much needed. Changing times is a real pain. This also shows up on the Dibs calendar as 20 entries. People quit using it when it's that far of a list to scroll through to the next  Dibs with 20 entries too.

We have a hockey association with 3 different rink and a lot of DIBS
sessions. We have multiple people work the same concessions shift and open
skate shifts all the time. Have this feature is necessary.

It would be great with this feature if you can easily change the date and time across each position needing to be filled. For example, I have 2-3 hour windows for volunteer positions for an all day event. Changing the date and time is a hassle for every position as Dibs doesn't currently allow for number of open slots per time. Each currently has to be listed individually. I want to use Dibs but it's such a hassle. The only feature it has I like is hour tracking. I am using now because of this but in order to get the hour tracking report you have to pay a fee.
I think if SportsEngine could make Dibs work more like most of all these issues listed in this forum would be solved. is SO easy to use!

Over 2 years now and still nothing?  These are the things that are going to keep you ahead with the competition SE.  This shouldn't be that hard to maker happen.

We are a Crew team with regattas during the fall and spring.  The ability to enter a quantity would be  a huge time saver for us when entering our hospitality shifts and food items we ask parents to donate. It would also make it easier for the Hospitality Co-Chairs to see at a quick glance if we will have enough help and food.

Yes, that's how I would think it should be.  Say "we need 4 people to cover this shift" instead of creating 4 identical dibs entries, and then show "3 of 4 spots claimed (1 spot available)" or whatever until it is full at which time it shows as "All spots claimed (0 of 4 spots available)."

I assume that the quantity will be the number of people needed for that shift?  Then Dibs should allow up to the "quantity" to make a claim to the shift.
